PLAN - Pilot of Lifestyle and Asthma Intervention

Purpose: This research is being done to try and find a way to help people with asthma lose weight. This study involves an online weight loss intervention that might help with overall health and asthma.

Who Can Participate: 

• Males and females 18 years or older
• Be diagnosed with asthma
• Want to lose weight
• Have access to the internet

Many people with asthma struggle to maintain a healthy weight. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of an internet-based weight loss program.

This study involves an online weight loss program and six visits to the clinic (approximately 2-3 hours each) and one phone visit over approximately a six-month period.
